Well, I can't believe it has been 3 weeks since I have written.
We have been busy with a graduation, a graduation party, Vacation Bible School, mission trip prep and grandma having a stroke.
Bek's graduation party and graduation went well. I will post those pictures soon.
Vacation Bible School was good and I have a few pictures of that as well as of Matthew that I will post eventually too.
Beka and Hannah are in El Paso, TX this week on a missions trip. They go across the border into Mexico everyday, but stay in El Paso at night.
Keith's Mom had a stroke the 4th of July. Keith and I went down to VA on the 5th and 6th to see her at a hospital in Roanoke. She regained everything fairly quickly except for eyesight. They then moved her to a rehab facility closer to home on Thursday, the 10th. Keith went down on Friday the 11th and stayed until Sunday, the 13th because our nephew was getting married and someone needed to stay with her while Keith's brother and wife went to the wedding. On Friday, she was doing ok but Keith said she was sleeping alot and her speech was slurred. On Saturday and Sunday she was doing much better and talking well. However, Keith's brother called yesterday and said that she was talking crazy, saying things like Keith and I were smoking pot and she was in a cabin. We don't know if it is from the stroke, drugs they are giving her or the rehab (it may be too much for her since she had bleeding in the brain with this one).
Please pray for Keith's Mom and for the girls safety on the missions trip.
We are also having a baby shower for Sarah this weekend at church. My sister, Terri and her son Chris and my sister, Joni and her kids Tyler and Haley are coming this weekend for that. Sarah has less than 5 weeks to go. Our little granddaughter will be here before you know it.
So as you can see, there is something always going on here making it hard for me to get on the computer and work on this blog. Be patient with me. Lord willing, I will get caught up. I thought summer was suppose to less stressful. Right!
